Job summary

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Inventory Management Team seeks Instock Managers and Demand Planners to optimize product availability and forecast accuracy across our grocery network in Arlington and beyond.

You will build scalable analytics, automate workflows, and partner with Category, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance to drive improvements while supporting occasional travel to fulfillment centers and stores.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
• 2+ years of Excel experience.
• Experience using data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions and solve problems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in business, operations, logistics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory availability and health through buying strategies, vendor improvements, forecasting and shrink reduction.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned categories, analyzing sales trends, seasonality, and promotional impacts.
• Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements for purchasing and vendor management.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and communicate supply-demand imbalances and implement corrective actions.
• Deep dive instock performance to develop insights for stakeholders.
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate inventory performance and KPIs.
• Collaborate with category teams to understand product assortment and seasonal needs.
