Job summary

Amazon’s Worldwide Grocery Stores Inventory Management Team seeks Instock Managers and Demand Planners to optimize product availability and drive automation across the supply chain. You will manage inventory health, develop demand forecasts, and partner with Category, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance to implement scalable improvements.

This fast-paced role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across teams, and occasional travel to fulfillment centers and stores.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
• 2+ years of Excel experience.
• Experience using data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in business, operations, logistics or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory availability and health through buying strategies, vendor improvements, forecasting and shrink reduction.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing sales trends, seasonality, and promotions.
• Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation and processes affecting purchasing and vendor management.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and communicate supply-demand imbalances and implement corrective actions.
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate inventory performance and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with category teams to understand product assortment and seasonal needs.
• Escalate roadblocks and risks while applying best practices in supply chain management.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to fulfillment centers, stores, and vendor locations.
