Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Instock Manager to join the Worldwide Grocery Store Inventory Management team in Seattle. You will own shrink performance analysis, drive actionable insights, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across SSD/FC operations to improve inventory health.

You will collaborate with Inventory Management, Category, Finance, BI, and Tech teams to identify drivers, implement shrink-reduction programs, and track savings with rigorous governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience.
• 2+ years of Excel experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring analysis and reporting of shrink performance, identifying site-, category- and ASIN-level drivers and escalating emerging risks.
• Deep dive inventory defects including expiration, excess inventory, shelf life, case pack, ordering and operational drivers.
• Support development and execution of shrink-reduction initiatives across SSD / FC.
• Partner with category and site teams to convert analytical insights into clear actions, owners and timelines.
• Track initiatives against expected shrink savings and drive actions through to closure using established mechanisms.
• Support weekly and monthly business review mechanisms, including insights, commentary and follow-up actions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or automate recurring reporting and analytical processes.
• Build effective working relationships across Inventory Management, Operations, Category, Finance, BI and Tech.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs, meet deadlines, and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks.
