Job summary

The Confederated Tribes Of The Colville Reservation is seeking a Food Services Cook at San Poil Treatment Center in Keller, WA. The role prepares and serves daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, handles cooking, serving, cleaning, and maintains kitchen safety and sanitation in compliance with tribal and federal standards.

You will report to the Food Services Manager, work a hands-on kitchen schedule, and contribute to a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 12–18 months of restaurant cooking experience in food services.
• Experience in an institutional, military, or large commercial kitchen is a plus.
• Must be a minimum age of 21 years old.
• Ability to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste and smell.
• Ability to frequently use hands to handle, feel or operate objects and lift up to 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• The Food Services Cook prepares and serves daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Responsibilities include meal preparation, serving, dishwashing and sanitizing.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen, freezer, refrigerator, and storage areas.
• Follow federal, state, local, and Tribal food safety and sanitation standards; work under the Food Services Manager.
