Job summary

The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is seeking a kitchen cook to prepare and cook soups, meats, vegetables and desserts for tribal eateries in Washington. You will follow recipes, rotate products daily, and assist the Sous Chef with specialty dishes while maintaining high quality and guest service.

Candidate should have a HS diploma or GED and about 1 year of related experience; experience with high-volume cooking is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons and cooks soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts to specifications.
• Follows recipes and displays food to quality standards; assists Sous Chef with specialty dishes.
• Rotates food daily; ensures HACCP and sanitation guidelines are met; performs QC checks.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required; supports kitchen operations.
