Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to support a large, on-site food service operation inside a jail/correctional facility. You will work with the Food Service Director to plan activities, supervise food service workers, and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to training and continuous improvement. Salary is $45,000 per year with premium benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Communicate with clients to build positive connections.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications.
• Maintain sanitary environment per Health Dept codes.
• Prepare for state inspections.
• Perform other duties as needed.
