Job summary

UnitekExternal is seeking a field technician to install, upgrade and repair residential cable products. You will serve customers on-site, troubleshoot issues and ensure workmanship meets quality standards.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, basic English for safety, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings. A full-time opportunity with potential for growth is available in the Myrtle Beach area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 70 lbs and work in attic crawl spaces.
• Must have 1 year of customer experience.
• Must have basic English to understand safety requirements.
• Candidates must pass pre-employment testing (MVR, drug, background).

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade and repair cable products.
• Service and troubleshoot cable products.
• Handle customer questions and develop solutions.
• Complete work orders and obtain signatures for accurate billing.
• Ensure installation work meets quality standards.
• Report to dispatch per company procedures.
• Assist with overflow work.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Service and trouble-shoot cable products
• -Handle all customer complaints, questions and develop solutions
• -Responsible for completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing
• -Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
• -Report to dispatch according to company procedures
• -Assist with work overflow
• -Follow all company policy and procedures
• -Adhere to safety policy
• -Other duties as assigned
