Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking an Installed Manager in Wilmington, NC to oversee installation services performed by employees and subcontractors. You will manage schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold safety and code compliance while driving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include recruiting field personnel, coordinating installations, and working with the sales team to grow installed sales and margins. A strong service mindset and problem-solving aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of installed sales or related building materials experience.
• Strong knowledge of installation methods and process improvements.
• Able to analyze problems and use good judgment.
• Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit qualified field personnel and subcontractors.
• Ensure all paperwork requirements are met.
• Ensure installers meet the code of conduct.
• Collaborate with Installed Service Manager to grow the installed sales team.
• Schedule and coordinate installed services.
• Work with sales force to identify installed sales opportunities.
• Research market opportunities to grow installed sales.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time and per contract.
• Resolve issues with patience and respect for workmanship.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safe installation practices.
• Conduct inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Direct and train installers to meet regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure installers have training to install products safely and efficiently.
