Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking an Installation Technician II to lead and support the installation, assembly, inspection, and basic maintenance of commercial food equipment. This role involves uncrating, moving, and positioning equipment at customer sites and driving service and delivery trucks with lift-gate systems.

Occasional travel and overnight assignments required. Collaborate with Service Technicians and Branch teams; flexibility in hours and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–4 years of related field experience.
• Ability to safely work with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support installation, assembly, inspection, and basic maintenance of commercial food equipment.
• Uncrate, move, and position equipment safely at customer sites.
• Inspect equipment and report issues; ensure proper operation.
• Drive service and delivery trucks with lift-gate systems to job sites.
• Assist technicians and branch staff with installation and service activities.
• Provide courteous customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Follow safety guidelines, policies, and procedures; maintain records as required.
