Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Installation Project Coordinator to direct field crew activities and ensure timely completion of quality products across Texas markets.

You will monitor schedules, enforce safety policies, coordinate with the Project Manager, and build long-term relationships with customers' field personnel while mentoring crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 4-6 years of Carpentry experience required.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Foreman required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and leadership skills.
• Thorough knowledge of residential construction OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate field crew activities to obtain optimum efficiency and highest economy of operations, and to achieve maximum gross margins.
• Ensure timely completion and the delivery of a quality product by monitoring the production schedule, communicating changes, and ensuring quality standards are met through the quality walk assurance program.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and company policy standards by thorough knowledge and enforcement of safety and employment policies.
• Communicate and make recommendations to the Project Manager regarding schedules, employee issues, plan issues, time sheets, budget accuracy, change orders and extras and customer field issues etc.
• Promote our business in the building community by building long term relationships with our customer's field personal through daily communication to ensure that we have the relationships in place that will allow US LBM to continue to grow our business.
• Provide a strong positive leadership example for all employees by providing direction, setting work examples, and mentoring employees. Assisting crews in advanced tasks.
• Ensure all company tools, equipment and material/supplies are used appropriately and secured properly at all times.
• Covering City framing inspections, as well as covering builder service items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Adheres to Company's commitment to workplace safety.
