Job summary

North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking a General Manager to lead the install department, coordinating with General Contractors, Project Managers, Executive Management, and other departments to optimize daily scheduling, inventory, and material purchases.

The GM will oversee staffing, safety, and performance, perform site visits, and ensure accurate job costing and reporting across projects while maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the install department and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Oversee staff hiring, training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
• Interpret drawings, manage purchasing, and coordinate job site installations.
• Monitor inventory, payroll, and job costing reporting.
• Maintain strong vendor, GC, PM, and customer relationships.
