Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking an Installation Manager to lead all installation operations for automated door projects. You will supervise Installation Technicians, coordinate multiple monthly projects, and ensure timely equipment ordering in partnership with the Operations Leader.

You will manage project schedules with end-user customers, collaborate with factory, sales, and contractors, and drive labor efficiency and margins while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA/BA/BS preferred.
• Experience supervising Field Technicians in door automation/construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends if necessary.
• Strong communication and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Installation Technicians and coordinate monthly project activities.
• Order and release equipment via factory and customer service.
• Schedule projects with end-user customers.
• Meet established goals and growth objectives under Operations Leader or District Manager.
• Manage Administrative staff for scheduling and installations.
• Develop relationships with End-users, General Contractors, and Suppliers.
• Maintain backlog and work-in-progress; forecast labor and margins with Sales.
• Collaborate with Sales to determine labor hours and margins.
• Review projections and forecast reports.
