Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage the logistical and labor coordination of installation projects. You will schedule, arrange moves, and align resources with production teams, while creating project folders and ensuring accurate order entry.

You will communicate with installation technicians and customers, review blueprints, and coordinate with internal departments to determine labor hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation coordination or related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-responsibility role.
• Able to work independently in a standalone office/warehouse setting.
• Flexible to varying schedules, including weekends if necessary.
• Proficient in Baan, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all installation jobs including scheduling, labor planning, and prioritization.
• Manage job move-ups and preferred scheduling with internal teams.
• Create project folders and ensure accurate order entry and release.
• Work with the Custom Committee to ensure job accuracy.
• Liaise between Sales, Production, and Installation teams.
• Maintain frequent communication with installation technicians and customers.
• Partner with Sales to determine labor hours for projects.
• Review blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications for order accuracy.
• Use field measurements to verify installation requirements.
• Conduct site visits to measure openings and validate readiness.
• Participate in take-off meetings and customer discussions.
• Assist with warehouse operations: receiving, unloading, pulling/staging materials, inventory accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment (including forklift, if certified).
• Deliver strong customer service and maintain relationships with end-users, contractors, architects, suppliers.
• Maintain organized workflow across multiple projects.
• Support office and operational needs in a small-team environment.
