Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our award-winning team in a K-12 setting. You will lead instruction for students with IEPs, design engaging lessons, and use a range of curriculums and software to meet diverse needs.

The role focuses on creating inclusive classrooms, implementing PBIS, collaborating with families and staff, tracking progress, and delivering individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• GA teaching credential in progress or valid.
• GA special education credential in progress or valid.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.
• Experience with IEPs and behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for K-12 students with IEPs.
• Design dynamic and personalized learning experiences.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in co-teaching settings.
• Develop and implement detailed IEPs, goals, and interventions.
• Maintain organized, safe classroom environment and documentation.
• Stay informed on current research-based practices and pursue professional growth.
