Job summary

Green Dot Public Schools in Los Angeles is seeking 2026-27 Middle & High School Special Education Teachers to support students with Mild to Moderate needs. You will collaborate with school teams, provide direct instruction in small groups, and integrate accommodations and modifications to enable access to core curriculum.

You will work within IEP frameworks, participate in SST/504 teams, and contribute to professional development for staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• California credential or credential eligibility by July 2026.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities under IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with IEPs in Mild/Moderate SDP.
• Co-teach/general education classes to increase access to the core curriculum.
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, specialists, and staff on IEPs and interventions.
• Develop and monitor intervention plans for at-risk students.
• Deliver professional development on special education procedures and guidelines.
