ThinkGrove in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Special Education Teacher with a Moderate/Severe Credential to provide focused instruction and support to students with disabilities. You will develop IEPs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and help students reach academic, social, behavioral, and functional goals.

Responsibilities include designing differentiated instruction, implementing behavior plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualificações

• Valid Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Teaching Credential (or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; master's preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and evidence-based instructional practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Experience working with students with moderate-to-severe disabilities preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with laws.
• Assess students’ academic, behavioral, and functional needs.
• Design and deliver differentiated instruction.
• Implement behavior support plans and data collection.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, admins, and families.
