Job summary

Green Dot Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Program Specialist to coach both Special Education and General Education teachers in inclusive, standard-aligned instruction across multiple campuses in Los Angeles. You will lead proactive classroom management, implement evidence-based teaching practices, and support data-driven decision making to improve student outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Clear/Level II Education Specialist Credential with 5+ years in SPED, plus experience with

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Clear/Level II Education Specialist Credential.
• CA Administrative Services Credential (preferred).
• Master’s degree or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 5 years of special education teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Coaching both Special Education and General Education teachers to implement inclusive, standards-aligned instruction and proactive classroom management.
• Apply reading science and MTSS concepts to accelerate student growth and support diverse learners.
• Lead and design district- and site-level professional development on inclusive practices and data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with site administrators and SPED teams to align IEPs, schedules, and services with general education.
• Coach and support teachers in data analysis of assessments and student work to guide instructional decisions.
• Design and deliver district-wide PD focused on Universal Design for Learning and inclusive practices.
