North Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to guide care quality and lead the nursing team in a Texas facility. The DON oversees compliance, staffing, payroll, and records while supporting direct care on the floor to ensure consistent, high-quality resident care.

The role requires an active RN license in good standing in Texas and a proven track record in long-term care leadership. Strong regulatory knowledge and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have TX RN license in good standing.
• Proven leadership in long-term care or geriatric settings.
• Strong clinical skills with restorative care focus.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal guidelines.
• Lead nursing team: recruit, onboard, schedule and evaluate staff.
• Support direct care on the floor to maintain high quality care.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain resident records and proper documentation.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and teams.
• Provide resources: equipment and supplies for nursing staff.
• Coach and mentor nurses to improve performance and outcomes.
