Hireology is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical excellence and guide our nursing team. You will shape the resident care experience, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Texas, has leadership experience in long-term or geriatric care, and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills with a restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Lead the Team: recruit, onboard, schedule, and manage nursing staff performance.
• Provide on-the-floor support to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain resident records and documentation accuracy.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure access to equipment and supplies for nursing staff.
• Coach and mentor nursing staff to improve outcomes.
