Sticky Fingers Cooking is hiring a part-time After School Children's Cooking Instructor to bring engaging, healthy, world-inspired cooking to kids ages 3-12. You will lead hour-long classes at multiple local sites, nurture curiosity, and use kid-tested recipes.

You will review curricula, shop for ingredients, and teach essential kitchen skills while partnering with a supportive team. Fingerprint background check is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week to teach, Mon–Fri 2–5pm (most classes 3–4:30pm).
• Commitment to weekly sessions (6–12 weeks).
• Experience working with groups of kids of varying ages.
• Ability to manage 8–14 children and engage diverse backgrounds.
• Access to reliable transportation and timely communication with the team.
• Punctual and reliable; no professional cooking experience required.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (can obtain before teaching).

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long after-school cooking classes at different local sites.
• Create engaging recipes and teach about new ingredients and healthy foods.
• Prepare weekly curricula and shop independently for fresh ingredients.
• Teach basic kitchen skills: washing, cutting, stirring, measuring, and nutrition.
