Sticky Fingers Cooking Colorado Springs is hiring part-time After School Children's Cooking Instructors to cultivate curiosity in kids ages 3-18. You’ll lead on-site, hour-long enrichment classes at various locations in your area.

You’ll create recipes, review curricula, shop for ingredients, and teach basic kitchen skills while fostering healthy eating habits. No professional cooking experience required; ServSafe certification is a plus and transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week (Mon-Fri, 2-5 pm).
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4-12 weeks).
• Ability to manage and engage 8-14 children with diverse backgrounds.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Punctual and reliable.
• No professional cooking experience required.
• Experience with kids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long cooking enrichment classes for children.
• Create weekly recipes and teach about new ingredients.
• Review curricula and prepare for instruction, including shopping for ingredients.
• Teach basic kitchen skills: washing, cutting, measuring, and safety.
• Provide encouragement and promote healthy eating habits.
• Interact with kids, parents, and school staff on-site at various locations.
