Job summary

Sticky Fingers Cooking, LLC is seeking part-time Chef Instructors to bring hands-on cooking and nutrition curriculum to children and teens ages 3–18 on weekday afternoons in Florida. You will teach, prepare, and inspire students in a safe, engaging kitchen setting, delivering a flexible schedule with a supportive team.

Responsibilities include leading hour-long classes for 8–14 students, preparing ingredients, and maintaining a positive, organized classroom environment while building confidence

Qualifications

• Reliable, enthusiastic, organized with classroom leadership.
• Genuine interest in cooking and working with children.
• Experience with teaching, childcare, camps, or culinary education is a plus.
• Availability at least 2 weekdays per week between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
• Commitment to 4–12 weeks of sessions.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long cooking enrichment classes for groups of 8–14 students.
• Guide students through kid-tested recipes and kitchen techniques.
• Teach measuring, mixing, chopping, food prep, and kitchen safety.
• Introduce nutrition, food science, history, geography, and cultures through cooking.
• Encourage trying new foods and building kitchen confidence.
• Maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
