Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a Mechanical and Tool Inspector responsible for in-process and final inspections on machined parts, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and coated components. You will use CMMs and precision instruments to verify critical dimensions to tight tolerances and ensure functionality per requirements before shipment.
The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3x12 shifts with overtime as needed.
You will be the Mechanical and Tool Inspector for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for producing some of the world's most advanced weapon and sensor technology through ultra-precision machining, additive manufacturing, and the development of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems.
As the Mechanical and Tool Inspector, you will be responsible for performing in-process / courtesy / quality witness / final inspections on machined parts, electro-mechanical, mechanical, composite, integrated systems and various coatings including chemical conversion coating, military grade primer / paint, powder coat and anodize.

Must have the ability to work different shifts (1st shift / 2nd shift/ 3x12 shift Fri-Sun) at times based on seniority prioritization in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW.
Must have the ability to work overtime including weekends depending on Business Unit needs.
