Qualifications

  • Read and interpret engineering blueprint specifications.
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Write simple correspondence.
  • Present information effectively in one-on-one and small groups.
  • Apply common sense to detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Handle problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Perform arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages; interpret bar graphs.
  • Program and operate CMM.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, bore gages, optical comparator, and CMMs.
  • Willingness to expand professional body of knowledge.
  • Knowledge of PPAP and ASQ qualification/Plus.
  • High school diploma or GED with related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to stand, walk regularly; lift up to 40 pounds; good vision.

  • High school diploma or GED with 1+ year related experience and/or training

  • Ability to stand and walk regularly

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
