Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dependable Quality Inspector to monitor processes and support calibration and inspections in a manufacturing plant. You will perform evaluations, qualifications, and keep inspection records while working in a plant/warehouse environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic math, the ability to read and communicate in English, and a forklift license. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the local language (English).
  • Forklift driver's license.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasion.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must comply with required PPE.
  • Blood tests may be required for lead levels.
  • Plant/warehouse environment with varying conditions.

  • Conduct qualifications and capability studies.
  • Calibrate electrical and mechanical test and measurement equipment.
  • Maintain calibration standards and inspection records.
  • Perform inspections on purchased and manufactured products according to procedures.
  • Provide support and assistance in problem identification and resolution.
  • Conduct evaluations and analyze materials, products, and processes using quality techniques and procedures.
  • Work without supervisory responsibilities in a plant/warehouse environment.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to do basic math
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the local language
  • Possess a valid forklift driver's license
  • Must be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able and willing to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Must comply with required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Must undergo periodic blood tests to measure lead levels
  • Ability and willingness to work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying working conditions
