WSP Global Inc. in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Work Coordinator – Inspection Support & Training to support construction inspectors across utility projects. The role focuses on onboarding, documenting requirements, reporting expectations, and teaching processes to staff with varying experience.

The ideal candidate will have construction or inspection knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to coach inspectors to produce consistent project records. Travel may be required.

Competenze

• 5+ years in utility construction, electrical or inspection operations.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience as a construction inspector/coordinator preferred.
• Strong understanding of documentation and field reporting.
• Ability to train, mentor, or support personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail in reviewing records.
• Ability to communicate expectations clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work with both new and experienced inspectors.
• Proficiency with MS Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams, Bluebeam and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational skills across multiple projects.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Flexible to varying schedules; travel may be required.

Mansioni

• Coordinate onboarding of inspectors.
• Train inspectors on documentation requirements, expectations, systems and workflows.
• Provide guidance on daily inspection reports and documentation.
• Provide ongoing documentation and process support to inspectors.
• Serve as a resource for questions on documentation and reporting processes.
• Review inspector documentation for quality and consistency with expectations.
• Provide coaching to improve inspector documentation.
• Help standardize practices across inspectors and projects.
• Develop training guides, checklists, reference materials and resources.
• Conduct refresher training when issues are identified.
• Identify recurring deficiencies and report trends to Operations Managers.
• Provide feedback to Operations Managers about gaps.
• Assist inspectors with updated requirements and process changes.
• Support continuous improvement of inspection workflows.
• Coordinate with Project Controls & Documentation Coordinator for access to drawings and schedules.
• The ideal candidate combines field credibility with the ability to teach.
• Identify when documentation does not meet expectations and explain improvements.
• Position is subject to client approval; located at client offices.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and related policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
