Job summary

MAC.BID in Washington, PA seeks an Inspection-Feed Associate to support the Scan Team. This full-time hourly role involves inspecting incoming merchandise, classifying items, and preparing products for scanning while following safety and process guidelines.

You will move products to the conveyor, assist with testing electronics at a basic level, and perform other tasks as assigned by management. The position requires on-site availability, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and comfortable standing

Qualifications

• On-site work 9am–5:30pm; Mon–Fri; shifts vary by location.
• Must lift 25 lb; 50 lb with team.
• Must stand and walk for hours.
• Tech-savvy; follow written directions and policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.

INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
