Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring for an Inspection/Feed Associate to support the Scan Team. This on-site role handles inbound products, classifies condition, and conducts basic electronics testing, preparing items for scanning. You'll move items to conveyors and perform related tasks as directed by management.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 lb solo and 50 lb with a team, stand/walk for extended periods, and follow written directions. HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on-site 9am–5:30pm, Mon–Fri, with shifts as needed.
• Must lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team.
• Must stand and walk for long periods during the shift.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to follow written directions and policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break,hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
