Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking an Inspection-Feed Associate for our Monroeville facility. You will prepare and position returned items for the Scan Team, inspect products for defects, and help keep the line running smoothly in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

This full-time, hourly role requires on-site availability, the ability to lift up to 25 pounds (50 with help), and basic digital skills to follow directions and use scanners.

Qualifications

• On-site availability required; shifts may vary Monday through Saturday.
• Able to lift 25 lbs alone, 50 lbs with team lift.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using basic scanners.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for scanners to process.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
