Job summary

MAC.BID in Robinson Township, PA, is seeking a Scanner Associate for full-time on-site work. You will use proprietary software to scan items, upload listings, and assist with online auctions.

You’ll work with the Scan Team Lead and must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds (50 with team lift). The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow written directions, and comfort with technology.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
