Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Put Away Associate to join our Washington, PA location. The role involves quickly removing scanned products and placing them into shelves according to our auction system. Reports to the Scan Team Lead and supports the team in meeting quantity and quality goals.

Typical shifts are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour day and a 30-minute lunch. Candidates must be able to lift 25 pounds alone (50 pounds with team help) and stand or walk for long periods

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site 9am–5:30pm, Mon–Fri; 8-hr shifts with 30-min lunch.
• Lift 25 lb alone; 50 lb with team lift.
• Stand and walk for long periods; follow written directions and policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove scanned products quickly from the area.
• Move products to bays and shelves by auction/lot number.
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from bays and scan area; perform other tasks as assigned.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Put Away position is responsible for quickly removing scanned products and putting them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move product to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
