Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Scanner Associate to join the Monroeville team. You will scan items into the system, verify information, and create online auction listings, aiding in fast, accurate item uploads and photo preparation.

Typical hours are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, on-site. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds solo and 50 pounds with a team, and stay on your feet for extended periods. Tech-savvy candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• On-site 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday; hours may vary by location.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to follow written directions.

Responsibilities

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search products online.
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete information for each item.
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The S can T eam uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
