Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Quality Inspector for Civil, Electrical, & Mechanical engineering projects in Londonderry, NH. This 12-month contract role requires detailed mechanical inspection of components and assemblies, with emphasis on GD&T and metrology tools.

Employment is a full-time contract with potential for contract-to-hire. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or associate degree) with relevant experience, and are able to perform both mechanical and visual inspections,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of prior relevant experience, or
• an Associates Degree with 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical inspections from drawings using calipers, micrometers, surface plate, height gauges, gage blocks, gage pins, optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, coordinate measuring machine, and other standard inspection equipment.
• Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes and magnifiers.
• Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when required.
• Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via written discrepancy reports to SQEs/SQTs.
• Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers.
• Participate in MRB meetings to support SQE/SQT’s.
• Maintain records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• Identify equipment needs for jobs requiring new or custom metrology tools.
• Identify Dock to Stock (DTS) candidates per established procedures and present nominations to SQE.
• Work closely with buyers, planners, design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers and program leadership.
• Support SQE/SQT with routine supplier audits when required.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector .

Position Type: Full-Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Londonderry, NH 03053

As a Quality Inspector , you will:

• Perform precision mechanical inspections from dimensioned drawings using calipers, micrometers, surface plate, height gages, gage blocks, gage pins, optical comparator, toolmakers microscope, coordinate measuring machine, and other standard inspection equipment.
• Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies using microscopes & magnifiers.
• Perform first article inspections and generate detailed reports when required.
• Communicate discrepant findings verbally and via written discrepancy reports to Supplier Quality Engineers/Technicians (SQE/SQT).
• Independently perform source inspection at local suppliers.
• Participate in MRB meetings to support SQE/SQT’s.

Ideal candidate will have

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range: $27-$28 per hour
