Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Inspection Center General Manager to oversee the center’s overall performance, leading up to 500 associates in a lean manufacturing setting to meet quality, production, and cost targets.

You will drive production planning, continuous improvement, and leadership development, ensuring adherence to Carvana culture and safety standards across shifts while optimizing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Proven track record of leading and developing associates.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent communications and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to ensure capacity meets future demands.
• Oversee production planning and weekly performance reviews and report results.
• Participate in hiring, mentoring, and development of leaders across the organization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving training.
• Ensure health, safety, loss prevention, and operational standards are followed.
