Job summary
Market Performance Group (MPG) seeks an Insights Analyst to deliver accurate CVS reporting, integrated insights, and data-driven storytelling to elevate sales strategy and retailer conversations. You will own reporting cadence and strengthen process discipline, using CVS CMG and syndicated data to produce concise, actionable recommendations.
The role requires strong analytical rigor, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate data into retailer-ready insights that support CVS and MPG
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Category Management, Shopper Insights, or CPG analytics supporting national retailers.
- Experience with syndicated data, customer data, retailer POS, and CVS CMG data is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate data into insights.
- Ability to develop structured, retailer-ready observations and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Execute CVS reporting and manage weekly/monthly POS tracking and scorecards.
- Develop fluency in CVS customer data, retailer portals, and syndicated data sources.
- Create clear, compelling PowerPoint slides with key findings and implications.
- Support retailer-facing materials, line reviews, JBPs, and innovation launches with data insights.
- Conduct category, brand, shopper, and 4P analyses to inform sales planning.
