Job summary

Market Performance Group is seeking an Insights Analyst to support CVS with accurate reporting, integrated insights, and structured data-driven storytelling that elevates sales strategy and retailer conversations. You will translate data from multiple sources into concise recommendations and partner across CVS CMG data, syndicated data, and retailer POS to uncover growth opportunities.

The role blends sales analytics with category insights, requiring strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, familiarity

Qualifications

1-3+ years in Sales Analytics, Category Management, Shopper Insights, or CPG analytics for national retailers.
Hands-on with syndicated data, customer data, retailer POS, and retailer portals or reporting tools; CVS CMG data preferred.
Experience preparing client- or retailer-facing materials and presenting analytical findings.
Ability to translate data into concise, sales-focused insights and business implications.

Responsibilities

Execute CVS reporting, manage weekly and monthly POS, item trackers, share updates, distribution reporting, and promotional scorecards.
Develop fluency in CVS data, retailer portals, and syndicated data sources.
Create clear PowerPoint slides articulating findings, implications, and next steps.
Support retailer conversations with fact-based insights and category opportunities.
Document processes and improve reporting templates for consistency and efficiency.
Present project updates on client and retailer calls with coaching as needed.
