Job summary

CRC Group, a leading independent broker and underwriter, seeks an Inside Underwriter in Fort Worth, TX. You will evaluate risk, apply carrier guidelines, and place business within binding authority and brokerage markets to support new and renewal production.

You will manage end-to-end underwriting, negotiate terms with carriers, and ensure compliance with internal and carrier standards. The role offers collaborative culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant insurance designation preferred
• Active state insurance license required
• Experience within underwriting or brokering specialty or E&S insurance products
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and risk evaluation

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business within binding authority and brokerage markets
• Manage submissions, quoting, binding, and policy confirmation
• Negotiate coverage terms with carriers and ensure alignment with underwriting strategy
• Resolve underwriting and coverage issues for retail agents
• Monitor assigned accounts for compliance with company policies and carrier guidelines
