Job summary

Opifex-Synergy seeks an Inside Service Manager to lead the service side of our equipment rental business in Orlando. You will oversee maintenance, repairs, parts order handling, inventory control, and customer billing while collaborating with the outside sales team to ensure top-tier service.

You will hire, onboard, develop, and coach technicians, set performance expectations, and provide the tools and knowledge needed to perform at a high level.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year technical certificate, 5 years of service management experience for heavy equipment, or related college degree.
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide detail-oriented support to shop technicians diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
• Coordinate daily shop repair activities ensuring parts, tools, and documentation are available.
• Open, update, and close work orders for in-shop service jobs.
• Use Smart Equip and ERP systems to document and track service repairs and parts activity.
• Manage receiving, organization, tracking, and relocation of parts.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records and service documentation.
• Coordinate training for technicians and support departmental efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
