Job summary

Opifex-Synergy seeks a Shop Foreman to optimize service operations for heavy equipment. You will lead Service Technicians, ensure safe, efficient maintenance and repair of rental equipment, and collaborate with the Service Manager to drive project profitability and quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, customer service excellence, and the ability to train and motivate technical staff in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-year technical certificate or related college degree preferred.
• 5 years of heavy equipment service experience or related field experience.
• PC proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shop complies with safety policies and PPE usage.
• Maintain organization across shop, yard, and wash bay.
• Coordinate daily activities of Service Technicians.
• Provide hands-on training and support for technicians.
• Supervise shop personnel in absence of Service Manager.
• Oversee safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment.
• Diagnose and supervise equipment repairs for quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of rent-ready equipment.
