Job summary

Building Controls & Solutions (BCS) in Houston, TX, is seeking an Inside Sales to join the branch team. The role blends inside sales, customer service, and hands-on warehouse duties to grow branch sales and ensure accurate order processing.

The candidate will build customer relationships, drive opportunities, and support daily operations with a focus on service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inside or counter sales, preferably in distribution or wholesale.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with CRM, order entry, and inventory management systems.
• Experience in HVAC, controls, or building automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow counter traffic and local service area sales.
• Upsell, cross-sell, and follow up on quotes.
• Coordinate with outside sales, vendors, and internal teams for order fulfillment.
• Guide customers through product selection and the sales process.
• Educate customers on products, services, and capabilities.
• Process quotes, orders, and returns; mentor junior staff.
