Job summary

Yarde Metals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Trainee in Limerick, PA. The role provides a structured training program to learn products, services, pricing, and industry knowledge, with the goal of developing a profitable customer base.

Once trained, you will handle customer quotes, respond to inquiries, and grow existing accounts while maximizing sales and profits. A strong English communicator with a drive to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Sales, sales support and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience in the metals industry preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
• Effective phone skills with strong command of the English language.
• Capable of building and developing strong business relationships.
• Ability to negotiate and make sound business decisions.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Outlook/Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Providing sales administrative support during initial stages of training.
• Successfully meeting training expectations by acquiring and demonstrating the fundamentals of the position.
• Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Interpreting customer requirements and negotiating pricing, service and delivery.
• Expediting orders and responding to customer inquiries.
• Evaluating sales orders for accuracy and profitability.
• Reviewing sales and profit reports.
• Continually learning about products, pricing, services and market/industry trends.
