Job summary

Yarde Metals, Inc. in Limerick, PA is seeking an Inside Sales Trainee to join a structured training program that builds knowledge of products, services, pricing, and industry sales skills.

You will quote and respond to customer inquiries, develop new accounts, and support existing accounts by delivering exceptional service while targeting profitable sales performance. The role emphasizes training, product knowledge growth, and teamwork within a safety-conscious metals environment; strong English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Sales, sales support and/or customer service experience required.
• Experience in the metals industry preferred.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
• Effective phone skills with strong command of the English language.
• Capable of building and developing strong business relationships.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to negotiate and make sound business decisions.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Providing sales administrative support during initial stages of training.
• Successfully meeting training expectations by acquiring and demonstrating the fundamentals of the position.
• Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Interpreting customer requirements and negotiating pricing, service and delivery.
• Expediting orders and responding to customer inquiries.
• Evaluating sales orders for accuracy and profitability.
• Reviewing sales and profit reports.
• Continually learning about products, pricing, services and market/industry trends.
