Job summary

Stellar is seeking an Assistant Inside Sales Manager to lead and develop the Inside Sales team while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient order processing. This role interfaces with outside sales, product management, production, and senior leadership to align on growth strategies and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience.
• Minimum of two years of leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales team to achieve objectives.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate Inside Sales personnel.
• Monitor KPIs for customer responsiveness, quotation activity, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee preparation of customer quotations and ensure timely responses.
• Monitor order entry activities to ensure accurate processing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Attend customer visits, sales meetings, trade shows, and strategic reviews as needed.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and distributors.
• Review and approve billing adjustments, credits, warranty and freight claims.
