Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Support Representative for its Wayne, NJ facility. You will support sales activities, prepare quotes, and respond to customer inquiries while coordinating with internal teams.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in sales administration, strong communication, and multitasking skills. Knowledge of Word/Excel and a manufacturing environment is preferred, with on-site collaboration and growth opportunities at ITT.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales administration or a related role.
• Technical aptitude or experience within a manufacturing environment required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred).
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support by preparing quotes, addressing inquiries, and responding to customer requests in a timely manner.
• Manage and track customer requirements, ensuring timely follow-ups and issue resolution.
• Expedite order fulfillment by monitoring production schedules, verifying order status, and proactively issuing updates and reminders.
• Support the Regional Sales Manager and Inside Sales team with administrative and sales-related activities.
• Perform high-volume, accurate data entry for sales orders, and related documentation.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to customer retention initiatives by maintaining consistent communication and service excellence.
• Resolve customer concerns, including technical issues, by coordinating with internal teams and providing effective solutions.
• Assist with accounts receivable and collections efforts as needed.
