Job summary

PFT Alexander, part of Ovation Holdings, Inc., seeks an Inside Sales & Technical Services Support team member to back our sales teams. You will be the first contact for customers, move orders from quote to shipment, and help grow the business across Southern California.

Responsibilities include handling orders, providing product information, coordinating with vendors, and generating sales reports. The role requires a high school diploma and 4+ years in sales support or customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in sales support or customer service.
• Experience in oil and gas industry or with industrial products preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite, Excel and Outlook preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Follow up on sales leads, route them to the right member of the sales team, and promote and sell products and services.
• Enter quotes, purchase orders and sales orders accurately, and track orders from entry through delivery.
• Contact vendors by phone and email to confirm pricing, availability and delivery dates.
• Ship and receive sales orders and purchase orders.
• Resolve billing issues, keep customer information and the client database accurate and up to date.
• Generate and analyze sales reports and progress reports, and prepare data, templates and presentations for sales meetings.

Job Summary
PFT Alexander is seeking an Inside Sales & Technical Services Support team member to support our inside and outside sales teams. PFT Alexander sells, fabricates, services and calibrates pressure, flow and tank level measurement and control equipment for petroleum, wastewater, utility and industrial customers across Southern California. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and vendors, keep orders moving from quote to shipment, and help the sales team grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Customer Support: Answer customer calls and emails, handle orders, inquiries and complaints, and answer questions about products, services and warranties.

• Order Processing: Enter quotes, purchase orders and sales orders accurately, and track orders from entry through delivery.

• Billing and Records: Resolve billing issues, keep customer information and the client database accurate and up to date.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in the oil and gas industry or with industrial products preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite, Microsoft Excel and Outlook preferred. SharePoint is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage time well and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and resourceful, working independently or as part of a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
