Crawford Electric Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate for our RDC/Branch. A part of the Sonepar group, Crawford offers a broad range of electrical products and services to contractors across the Southeast U.S.

The role focuses on supporting Outside Sales, pricing, and ensuring timely order delivery, within a culture committed to growth and development. Ideal candidates will have strong math, communication, and computer skills, plus a basic knowledge of electrical products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more of related experience.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math functions with different units and scales.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest and commissions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical or business publications.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Basic electrical product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supports Outside Sales with customer orders.
• Determines type of merchandise by becoming familiar with products sold and utilizing vendor catalogs and other reference materials.
• Utilizes Eclipse program for pricing structure and order entry.
• Estimates date of delivery based on knowledge of company delivery schedule.
• Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
• Describes/demonstrates products using samples or catalogs showing features and benefits.
• Sells and promotes branch and company-wide special promotions as directed.
