Job summary

IBT is seeking an inside sales/customer service professional to assist with applications, product sourcing, pricing, and proposals. The role requires maintaining vendor literature and coordinating marketing plans while supporting branch sales and vendor relations.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, the ability to calculate discounts, and familiarity with Epicor P-21 and Google/Microsoft suites. A valid driver’s license is required, with light travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with inside sales and/or customer service preferred, but not required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions.
• Ability to calculate discounts & percentages.
• Ability to specify technical products and provide sales information.
• Strong PC and software skills (Epicor P-21, Google & Microsoft Suites).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide inside sales and customer service support for IBT customers with application assistance, product sourcing, pricing and proposals.
• Support customers with product sourcing, pricing, proposal presentation, billing, order entry and promotional items.
• Maintain appropriate quantities of current vendor literature.
• Coordinate and follow marketing plans for target products and accounts.
• Assist customers by monitoring branch sales and vendor relations at the branch level.
• Maintain open communication between corporate, region managers, branches and IBT managers.
