Carter Lumber is seeking an Inside Sales Rep in Akron, OH. You will be the face of the store, assisting customers, sharing product information, and providing project estimates. The role includes processing transactions, following up on online quotes, and supporting Outside Sales Reps.

A friendly, outgoing personality and teamwork are essential. Salary is complemented by commission, with growth opportunities as we promote from within.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers as they enter the store and share product information.
• Provide advice on project needs and produce estimates for packages or projects.
• Process transactions and follow up on online customer quotes.
• Qualify new leads via cold calls and support Outside Sales Reps.
• Assist in inventory control, cycle counts, and resolving overages/shortages.
