Job summary

Briggs Inc of Omaha is seeking an Inside Sales professional to manage the inside sales desk, handle incoming calls, write orders, and source products while focusing on customer satisfaction and relations. The role supports outside sales, quotes, stock lists, and submittals, with emphasis on timely order processing and accurate deliveries.

The position requires 1–2 years of relevant experience or a college degree, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree or related work experience.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Possession of strong organization skills and able to multi-task.
• Prioritize and plan to use time efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales calls. Price, enter, and pull customer orders if needed.
• Support efforts of outside sales force in preparation and maintenance of job quotes, stock list quotations and submittal documents.
• Wait on customers quickly and accurately. Display and actively pursue sales for counter specials.
• Write purchase orders to be entered. Enter orders and bids into the computer. Process cash sales. Prepare submittals. Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse
• Increase product knowledge of new and existing products and present options to customers.
• Ability to multi-task, handling frequent interruptions and shifting priorities
• Deliver materials to customer locations & job sites when necessary.
• PC Computer familiarity, Excel, Word and company software.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
