Denver Industrial Pumps, a SunSource company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow sales by defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling activities that will lead to increased sales. Relocation for this position will be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years in pump inside sales/customer service.
• Strong inside sales skills with ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and data entry skills.
• Proficient PC skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Our central location is headquartered in Golden, Colorado and our Pump and Process Solutions division is located in Casper, Wyoming. We carry an average inventory of 300 + pumps that include: centrifugal, drum, submersible, air diaphragm, rotary vane and magnetic drive types. We also offer full-service repair for pump assemblies, base mounting, alignment, impeller trims and balancing, performance and hydrostatic testing. The primary markets we serve are: oil field/refining, industrial, municipal, pharmaceutical, mining, power generation, commercial, food & beverage, OEM and government.

Denver Industrial is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team.The Inside Sales Representative’s main purpose is to grow sales of Denver Industrial products by defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling the activities that will lead to increased sales. Relocation for this position will be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

What is the job about?

• Be responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and services.
• Process customer phone orders, check availability of stock, shipping dates, quote pricing, fill orders to customer specifications, process sales data via computer, and track stock levels.
• Maintains data relative to partners, accounts, and activities, and documents customer interactions.
• Illustrates via technology (i.e. MS Teams, etc.) products and emphasizes salable features.
• Prepares reports of business transactions and related report requests.
• Takes part in continued education and training programs and seminars, offered through and by manufacturers, to obtain and advance product, market and technical knowledge.
• Additional duties include assisting outside sales staff by preparing price quotes and sourcing product.

What do you need to apply?

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or other technical disciplines or related degrees along with 2+ years of experience in pump inside sales/customer service.

• Professional inside sales skills including the ability to work independently.
• Ability to develop and deliver via the phone (and in person as required) effective product presentations for all customers.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and data entry skills.
• Excellent PC skills with above average knowledge and use of Microsoft Office application programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Good aptitude for learning and applying new systems and programs
• Must be able to travel up to 50%, if necessary, both domestically and internationally. Thus, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification
